Why add it to your home screen?
Once it's on your phone, the CarFest schedule opens like a normal app — even with no phone signal out on the festival field. No app store, no password, no charge.
iPhone & iPad
These steps use Safari, the blue compass icon. If you opened this from Facebook or another app, tap ••• then "Open in Safari" first.
- 1Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (a square with an arrow pointing up). On an iPad it's at the top right.
- 2Scroll the grey list up or down until you see Add to Home Screen, then tap it.
- 3Tap Add in the top-right corner.
- 4Look for the CarFest icon on your home screen — tap it to open the schedule full screen, even with no signal.
Android phone or tablet
These steps work in Chrome or Samsung Internet. The exact words may vary slightly.
- 1Tap the menu button — usually three dots in the top-right corner, or three lines at the bottom.
- 2Look for an option called Add to Home screen, Install app, or Add shortcut, and tap it.
- 3Tap Add or Install. The CarFest icon appears on your home screen and opens like a normal app.
Still can't see it?
- • Make sure you're using your phone's browser, not still inside Facebook or Instagram.
- • On iPhone, the Share button is a square with an arrow — not the three dots menu.
- • On Android, if you don't see "Install app", try "Add to Home screen" instead.
- • You only need to do this once. After that, tap the CarFest icon on your home screen.
